We have just analysed FinTech Venture Capital investments as well as Alternative Finance volumes for 20 countries. Calculating both over a country’s GDP and averaging the results gives the following FinTech country ranking.
We draw the following conclusions:
– Israel, the UK and the USA form the FinTech Champions League
– Sweden, Netherlands and Ireland build a second tier
– Germany ranks no 10 and is 3rd class, has thus still a lot of upside
