Business Angels Most Important FinTech Investor Group
Due to the current discussion of legal changes for angel investments, we have taken another deep dive into our German venture capital data base ‘FinTech Money Map’.
With respect to angel investments we have found the following:
– We count 113 business angels investing in German FinTech
– Angels are the most important investor group ahead of traditional VCs
– Angels are crucial for early stage funding, but increasingly move into later stages as well
– We think our results are representative for the broader German VC market
