Below we show the most recent data points from destatis (German statistical office), which now shows five consecutive weeks of positive growth for consumer lending. After the collapse ollowing the March lockdown, this is encouraging news in our view. The data is labelled as „experimental“ by destatis so might be taken with a grain of salt.
