Eurozone Corporate Loan Growth Further Improves in May

We have taken a look at Corporate Loan Growth of the Eurozone for May, which has just been released by the ECB.
Our main findings include:
– Eurozone corporate loan growth further improved in May to -2.6% yoy improving from -2.8% yoy in April.
– Though still negative it is also a strong improvement compared to the recent cyclical low in August 2013 (-3.8% yoy).
– Adjusted for Sales & Securitisations the trend is even better slightly improving to -2.5% in May (from -2.8% in April).
