Germany’s Trade Deficit With Russia Is Down to €0.3bn in November
German imports from Russia kept declining in recent months to €1.6bn in November 2022 or almost 1/3 of its all-time high in March 2022. At the same German exports have been stable or even slightly up lately reaching €1.2bn in November 2022. Simple math tells us that Germany’s trade balance is still negative at minus €0.3bn. Nonetheless, this is the lowest deficit since July 2021.
